Very comfortable room with great big bed and superb shower. Good access to the lovely town centre in Palencia. Big negative was accessing the parking - it's done by driving onto a lift which we didn't like!

Super hotel near train station and 8 mins from cathedral. Only problem is the parking on site as access is by a lift. My Lexus 1s 250 just got in with about 2 inches either side. Breakfast was good. Would recommend .

Loved every minute

It was an amazing experience to stay there. Centrally located it’s in walking distance to most sites we wanted to visit as well as very close to bus and train station. Only place we ever took a taxi to was el Cristo del Ortero. Registration personnel was super nice and sweet as said they would love to visit us in the Pueblo next year. I was scared they would charge us for using the elevator so much but of course they didn’t. Oh they only turn the air conditioning on when it gets really hot but we opened the windows and it was fine. On our last night they did turn the air on upon request but we had to ask them to turn it off after a little while. Well I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Eurostars has been my hotel favorite in a life of travel in Spain during my early retirement. I was impressed again. Perhaps in part due to a relaxing atmosphere of Palencia factored into things but there is a feeling of peace and organization in this hotel. Price to quality was outstanding and the breakfast buffet a winner. The staff is professional and friendly. It’s a little tricky if your walking from the train or bus station as you go under the tracks and then up but play it safe and go to the next intercession to cross even though you will be tempted earlier. It’s a five minute walk- why not make it six and arrive safely? Then again there is a taxi stand right there between the bus and train stations and a rental car agent there. It’s a convenient place for a traveler either way. I like the spacious balcony with a wood table and chairs that gave it a homey feeling. My room had a tub if you like them. The restaurant is closed still but you can get a thing or two in the mini bar and spirits/coffee near where you check in. I was in a single room near the elevator and never hear the elevator or much noise at all.

Hemos estado 2 noches en este hotel. El recepcionista Diego un encanto , muy amable y educado con una conversación maravillosa. El hotel en general es moderno y limpio. Si que hsy que saber que para poder utilizar el aparcamiento tienes que tener un coche pequeño ya que hay que meterse en un ascensor y es pequeño. La habitación es moderna, tan moderna q no se ve, me parece oscura . La iluminación es tan mínimalista que si te gusta leer en la cama no vas a poder hacerlo. La habitación no estaba limpia había mucho polvo y no estaba ni barrida. Después los enchufes tienes que encontrarlos adivinando que estaban en el suelo debajo de las mesillas, la cama es comoda y bastante grande .El baño no estaba limpio, el papel higiénico estaba empezado y no tenía la cinta del wc; que indica que esta limpio. Y la iluminación lo mismo , no hay donde maquillarse porque no ves. Yo pague mas y elegir una habitación con vistas y nada de eso, las vistas eran a una pared del patio dr luces del hotel. El desayuno muy bien, abundante, rico y limpio; si bien es cierto que con una sola máquina de café se queda corto; hemos estado esperando para un café 20 minutos y no hay un microondas para los huéspedes, cosa que es muy importante si vas con niños y tienes que calentar su comida. Yo he pedido que me calentaran el café porque se me habia quedado frio y se ha llevado mi taza cosa que no es lo suyo nadie tiene porqué llevarse ni tu café ni nada por no tener un microondas a la vista.

El personal de recepción bien. El personal del salón de cena, horrible. 10 minutos esperando a que alguien saliera a sentarme en la mesa, te “tiraban” los platos a la mesa y ni una palabra. Cuando acabas, casi que te están echando. Horrible experiencia. El aparcamiento, si tienes un coche un poco grande no lo puedes usar ya que casi no cabe en el ascensor y lo tienes que dejar en la calle

A notre arrivée l enregistrement de la réservation n était pas faite, le parking est déconseillé par l hôtes d accueil car compliqué, donc obligé de trouver une place dans la rue. A minuit nous avons reçu deux coups de téléphone du standardiste...une erreur, et pour finir alors que les petits déjeuners étaient prévus et payés, a notre sortie a l'acceuil la standardiste a essayée de nous les faire payer....
