Small hotel in Italian style. The hotel staff is very attentive and professional. Dinners are wonderful, breakfasts are also very good. There is an excellent cook in the kitchen, and an excellent massage therapist in the spa. All service at the hotel is organized at a high level.

Excellent, small hotel on a white sandy beach. Very nice rooms and tidy everywhere. Perfect for a quiet and relaxing vacation. Sunbeds were always available by the pool and beach. Great service and good food.

Lovely staff and an extremely clean and comfortable hotel with great food and a lovely beach access with easy walk to other resorts and more lively areas as required. There is a lot of construction happening next door which did taint the atmosphere and relaxation - however still giving 5 stars as I am.almost certain this was catered for in the very reasonable price but worth noting for any future travelers.

One of the best hotels we've stayed in! We had such a lovely stay at Amani, the location is amazing right on the quieter stretch of the beach, beautiful property, gardens and rooms, and lovely fresh food with great choices. The staff were also incredibly helpful, friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Paje and want somewhere luxurious, relaxing and away from the crowds!

Perfect moments at Amani Boutique Hotel

We spent 3 amazing days in Paje, enjoying great moments at the beach and the swimming pool. The menu of the restaurant is very nice with different offers, we enjoyed sea food most of the time. The staff is very friendly and available for you at any moment. We strongly recommend to stop there during your trip in Zanzibar to reconnect with yourselves and just chill!

Great boutique hotel. If you’re looking for a place to relax, that’s the place. Everything is thought out in great detail. The food is also amazing! The location is great if you want to chill and have a relaxed vacation. If you’re looking to explore Paje city center it might be a bit far away but they will work in gather you a transfer. Definitely recommended and I’m sure i’ll be back in Amani!

Wonderful and Tranquil beach hotel

Wonderful small hotel with great rooms and lovely staff. Located on beach between Paje and Jambiani so we walked out for lunch and sundowners each day before returning to hotel for superb dinner If you want a quiet and tranquil break away from the bustle of other areas on the island this is the perfect place for you. We had a couple of nights in Stonetown to compliment it If we you do stay we can recommend lunch at the Rock restaurant up the coast. Wonderful experience and food. Hotel can arrange transport

This is an idyllic, quiet, adults only hotel. The rooms are lovely and modern with air conditioning. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the 4 course a La carte dinner is outstanding with lots of choice and variety. The location is right on the white Sandy beach with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely recommend.

Absolutely serene with breathtaking views. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of local fruits and vegetables to enjoy. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are cleaned twice daily; however, this is when money went missing from our bedside during the evening service. Unfortunately, this can happen if valuables are left out. I believe having notice boards reminding guests to be vigilant would be helpful.

A truly wonderful hotel that stands out for its friendly family feel customer service and its variety and standard of food that has so many choices for vegetarians during the 4 course meal every night. The rooms are tastefully decorated with good aircon and mosquito nets for the bed. The pool and sunbeds are well spaced and quiet and there are paddle boards to use in the sea. The treatments at the spa are varied and delivered brilliantly for a very reasonable price! I highly recommend this adults only hotel if you’re looking for peace and tranquility with an outstanding focus on you as the guest

Perfect Honeymoon!

This was unbelievable! The end of the rain season and the hotel had just finished renovations so only six guests in total. The property is in superb condition and the service was always impeccable. I never tried to stay in a place that seemed to get cleaned every time we left the room. The location is also perfect if you want peace and privacy. Along the beach it's a bit of a walk towards Paje but that means the solicitors don't drift that far and basically had a mile of white sand all to ourselves. The food was great too but if I was to suggest any improvements it would just to offer more variety through the week, though I understand that the limited number of rooms also means a limit to how much variety is possible.

Near perfect hotel for a relaxing romantic holiday

Truly an amazing hotel. The seaview rooms have a very nice balcony with the white sand beach and palm trees right in front of you, and with the sound of the ocean just 50 meters away. Very new hotel, with very comfortable and well designed rooms. Hotel, restaurant, pool area, beach area are all inviting and relaxing in style, and although the pool might seem a bit small at first, it is perfectly fine for the 14 rooms hotel.. The beach area is on the hotels ground, so undisturbed from sellers on the beach. Service is great, including reception, restaurant, cleaning. The only point of improvement I have, is breakfast - it is okay but a bit substandard compared to everything else about the hotel BUT dont let that scare you off in regards to dinner/half pension - the three course a la carte dinner, with sufficient choices for everyone, was incredible - very tasty and well prepared - very high standard - we looked forward to it every night. Would love to come back.

Wonderful hotel with best-in-class staff

We had an amazing stay at the Amani! The hotel is a perfect place for an adults-only, quiet, relaxing stay. The location was a bit outside of Paje (20 minute walk along the beach), and there were limited options for dining because of the location, but dinner is included so that meant we had a quiet, delicious dinner every night. The view of the pool, grounds, and beautiful beach were beautiful. There were lounges chairs on the beach and pool and enough for every guest - a first for us! The only downside was the large construction project next door. It didn't really affect us, but we talked to several guests who were placed in rooms with a view of the construction and a jack hammer pounding all day long. They were equally frustrated that they had not been informed in advance. Also, the hotel lists itself as a 5-star hotel. It is not, though it is certainly very nice. What really sets the Amani apart is the incredible staff. We felt pampered as if we were in a typical 5-star hotel. In particular, Hamad helped us unwind and relax from the moment we arrived until we left; Alfred was amazing with his attentiveness and constant joy; Robert never stopped anticipating what we might want or need next. We highly recommend this hotel, though you'd probably want to check in advance to make sure you have a room that is not facing the project next door (it looks like many months of work left ahead). Thank you Amani team for a wonderful 8 days! We can wait to return.
