Edelweiss Motel is an older, basic accommodation as you would expect for the price. Our room was a good size, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The swimming pool and the surrounding area were clean and neat. I find swimming pools are often too cold for me, but the water here was a very nice temperature.

Good basic clean accommodation with helpful staff. Close enough to walk around the corner and up the street to the shops and the wharf. I slept very well on the bed- mattress the right comfort for me and the pillows plentiful. The kitchenette had the basics although I didnt need to cook anything. I cant comment on the pool or spa as I didnt use them.

The check in was very quick and we were shown personally to our lovely room which we had booked with a balcony. The owner was so kind and friendly and always on hand should you need anything. The room was big and clean and the location perfect. The kitchen was a lovely bonus. The shower was powerful. The bed was so comfortable and had the best night sleep. Wish we could have stayed longer, it really is the most wonderful area located 1 minute from the beach and all the lovely shops and restaurants of Paihia. Would recommend 100%

Good check in was the only highlight. The room was very musty and smelt during the whole stay. We had to leave the ranch slider open to air out the place. The bed was extremely old and very uncomfortable. Could not recommend at all.
