Our Pension Seenswert is a vegan guesthouse with vacation apartments, ideally located for exploring Upper Bavaria. We warmly welcome vegetarians, vegans, and, of course, flexitarians as our guests.
In this listing, we are offering our large vacation apartment “Hanni” for rent. The apartment is suitable for up to 4 people. It features a fully equipped kitchen, a large bathroom with a shower/tub combination and a washing machine, a bedroom with a large double bed (1.60 x 2.00 m) and a small closet, and a bright living room. In the living room, one of the sofas is a wide pull-out sleeper sofa (1.40 x 2.00 m). There is a dining table for 4 people in both the kitchen and the living room. A large window wall makes the apartment very inviting. It also features light-colored wooden ceilings throughout. On the beautiful balcony with terracotta tiles, you can enjoy the sun from morning until afternoon—or simply take in the view of the Alps.
A smart TV and free Wi-Fi are, of course, included.
Our house is centrally located in the heart of the village, right on the village stream, surrounded by old farmhouses, the village church, and the tavern on the square. High above, the Hohe Schloss towers, right next to the golf course, nestled in a stunning and majestic oak forest. The farmhouse was first mentioned as early as 1600, though exact details are no longer known. Later on, in any case, the farmhouse became the village bakery. And when we took it over, the large baking oven was still there. Narrow staircases, crooked walls, old wooden floors—we’ve preserved all of that, of course. But the rest was completely renovated and refurbished from top to bottom.
From the small village of Pähl, our guests can reach just about everything that makes for a wonderful vacation in Upper Bavaria. Lake Ammersee right on our doorstep, Lake Starnberg just a stone’s throw away, the Alpine foothills in no time at all, the mountains for hiking and skiing in less than an hour, and the Bavarian capital, Munich, even accessible by public transportation—well, almost.
The heart of the guesthouse is located in the main building: our large breakfast room, where we serve a vegan breakfast. Breakfast is also available to guests staying in the vacation apartments. It’s a place for people to come together, as we opted for one XXXL-sized table instead of many small ones. A glance at the breakfast menu shows that nothing here is run-of-the-mill. And the response from people who want to give vegan food a try is huge. On the first floor of the building, there are four double rooms of varying sizes, and two additional vacation apartments are being built on the second floor, set to be completed by March 2023. The vacation rental currently available is located on the first floor of the private home.
Free parking is available in the immediate vicinity. A spot in front of the house is available for guests to load and unload their luggage.
