The room we had was filthy and gross.
It was not clean and the ratings on Expedia do not accurately reflect the state of the hotel. We had been traveling 12 hours when we checked in after booking online, but when we arrived in the room we noticed there was dirt on door handles and frames etc but tried to just tell ourselves it was ok.
But then, we opened the fridge after we already unpacked our stuff and changed to find bugs and grime. Super disgusting. Nothing was wiped down including the counters and I’m not even sure the floors were vacuumed.
Essentially, the longer we were there that night the more grossness we found and yet with 3 kids and all our stuff unloaded with a 4 am wake up call, we had to deal with it. There was also yelling all throughout the night completely defeating the purpose of "rest" and dealing with the dirty room. Seriously, l've never had a worse experience at a hotel and we are all grossed out still thinking about it. I hope they take this review to heart and also Expedia doesn’t allow you to get refunds for these kinds of experiences as you can’t take it up with the hotel directly, so consider that when booking.
