The hotel was fine and the staff was helpful. It's a 15-minute walk to the heart of Padova, but only a 5-minute walk to the Basilica of St. Anthony. If you stay at the Giotto, do not miss the opportunity to eat at the Porto Corvo restaurant next door. The food is superb and reasonably priced; and it's packed with locals, who should know.

My room worked out very well. Breakfast was great -- the staff member who minded the breakfast room was lovely. The location of the hotel was excellent, although my room was on the street and thus a bit loud. (The rooms also weren't very soundproof, so heard my neighbors a little too.)

All staff were very helpful and friendly when requests were made. Hotel public areas and rooms were very clean and the room was well fitted out. The booking process for breakfasts could have been better explained by possibly an information sheet in the room, similarly tea / coffee facilities in the room would be a welcome addition. Minor issues that never spoiled our stay but worth mentioning. Would stay at Hotel Giotto again and recommend to others.
