We appreciated the location of this hotel. It was walking distance to all landmarks, convenient to the Danish Bakery across the street for breakfast and The Castle next door for pub style lunch or dinner. On our last day we just walked a few steps to the Airline Bus stop at Westgate and had an easy ride to Heathrow airport. The room was spacious with nice bed, shower and seating as well as mini-fridge and coffee maker. We'd stay here again!

A central location in Oxford is a plus, but the hotel location immediately adjacent to a hyper-modern shopping mall was unwelcome. Also, parking for the hotel at the mall car park is notably inconvenient and expensive

Pros: friendly staff, great location, and decent offerings such as complementary chocolates, assortment of teas and coffee with a nespresso machine in the room plus a bar/restaurant in lobby. Cons: the lobby could use some work. It looks outdated, dark and the toilets and sink in the lobby restroom were clogged. Not a good look when you first enter, giving a motel vibe. The rooms are also small.

Would have had a better experience if the tables at breakfast were cleaned, there were enough towels for the #of people booked for the room and there was soap in the shower. Our train was delayed and it was during a heatwave. Not having soap and towels and somewhere to eat added to stress instead of being a relief.

The stay in general was what is expected from a standard, non-fancy hotel, no big negatives or positives in general. Positives: * The staff, Cintia and her collegues, was very helpful. * The breakfast (not included) was very good! I especially liked that there were crumpets :-). * The location was good, felt central enough for us. Negatives: * Parking, available in the parking garage belonging to the mall close by the hotel, was quite expensive. That is the parking facilities that the hotel refers to, so I assume that is what is available.

Great location, average facilities for what the price was. We booked here specifically as it was advertised as parking provided. Turns out no parking was provided and we had to park at the shopping centre across the road which added a large unexpected extra sum to our stay. Apart from this being very central to most things. Not worth the money they charge. Don’t let the good lighting in the photos fool you.
