Friendly welcome, safe parking although restricted so early arrival required. Easy to walk in to town to shop, eat or go to the theatre. Also time in the morning to go out for breakfast or walk due to being able to leave the car til mid day. overall, a stress free trip.

The room was cozy and clean. Friendly staff was able to help me with the remote control batteries . It’s a fair walk to old town. There was plenty of morning coffee and tea.

Felt more like a B&B than a Hotel, but that’s not a bad thing, no breakfast service though. Comfortable room, good size and modern bathroom. Excellent location to allow exploring the city. Would recommend.

Nice welcome from Martin on arrival. Nice clean rooms and TV that actually works! My stay was nice and quiet.Nice to have parking on site too. Appreciated tea and coffee facilities too. Negatives were minor, no plug in sink, would have liked some shampoo /conditioner, couple of lights didn't work. Would recommend.

Complete lie about the Breakfast! That is the whole point of a bed and breakfast. The shows photos of a really nice breakfast. Complete con! I booked less than 2 weeks ago. 24 hours got an email from the owner. Woe is me on about small business. No breakfast and has not been for a long time. That is why I booked for the experience for my kid from the US. Stand up! Stand out! Do be like same old Vrbo.

The property was well maintained and nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable. Shower was lovely. No breakfast served anymore but we didn't need it as we had breakfast plans. I loved having instant hot chocolate and a kettle in the room in addition to instant coffee and tea.The staff were really nice and helpful. Fairly close to the centre and easy route as it's on a main road but not noisy. I'd recommend it and would stay there again.

Tiny and adequate

Great location. It's a 20 minute walk into the town center... but very pretty. Also next to a bus stop. There is a laundry mat down the street. Nice basic place to spend the night. The room was tiny, but clean and adequate.

The room was what I needed in Oxford, clean, fairly comfortable, and a reasonably short walk to the colleges--and quite close to some lovely river walks. The front steps, however, were gathering wrappers and other litter.

My room was in the attic. Heat rises and my room was suffocatinglie hot.The summer temperature was in the 30's.The bed was comfortable but the portable fan was inefficient. My room was like a sauna.

Basic, but very clean and tidy, parking excellent except cannot stay past 12.00 so had to walk down to Redbridge Park and Ride which for a bus ticket and parking up to 16 hrs was £4!

Small but adequate accommodation with car parking

The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom very small but adequate for our 2 night stay. Being an old building the floorboards are loud and squeaky, so grateful for being on the top floor and not the room below. The shower was great the first day, however the temperature got stuck on scalding hot the second morning and was unusable. The walk to town is direct and only 15min. The parking was a real bonus and adds value to the stay overall.

The rooms are very nice and the property itself is lovely, however the floorboards are very noisy and you can hear the people above you and the walls are thin. The rooms are very hot but due to it being so noisy not really able to have the windows open as the road is very busy and noisy

Top notch service

The owner switched our second floor room for a first floor room, saving my wife more steps. He also allowed early check in and parking. Granted that this is a shoulder season booking, but he was very kind! The walk to town center is easy and pleasant.
