Stay literally anywhere else

Located in a beautiful neighborhood with a pretty garden, but that’s where the positives end. The rooms are tiny and unclean (cobwebs, black mold in the shower). The beds were uneven, so we felt like we were falling out all night, and the bathroom was too small to turn around in. Our card keys stopped working each and every day (not kept with a phone, etc, and two independent card keys) and staff were challenging to get support from. Booking a multi-night stay here was regrettable.

This hotel is comfortable and quiet. About a miles walk from the center of the city, but you have options to walk along the city streets or the Oxford Park paths. Breakfast was good and a decent price and it was nice to have a restaurant on site. The room was very comfortable. It was nice to have a couch in the room that was comfortable and made it easy to get work done. The coffee and tea station was also a nice touch, they refilled with biscuits every day too! We were very comfortable!

We paid for two rooms, one of which was a premium room but the double glazing wasn’t very sound insulating from the outside, the bathroom radiator was disgustingly dirty, at 7am on each of the mornings we were woken by the cleaning cupboard being opened, closed and people taking things to do their job (I appreciate the cleaning staff need to work but surely this can be done without waking the guests). Hotel in a good location and walkable for central Oxford. General condition and staff is good and the room size is comfortable. Room we stayed in had dirty windows and window frames also the toilet faces the glass shower screen and is so close to it your knees touch the glass while sitting. Obviously unless you are very small this makes using the toilet very difficult!.
