Staff was very curtious. Room & hotel were clean. Stayed 4 nights. Maids made our beds, emptied trash, & gave new towels. Not sure there was much dusting or cleaning after we arrived. Breakfast was good, but the coffee/tea/hot water machine was broken the last 3 mornings. There wasn't a sign on it that it was broken. Suggestion: Maybe a microwave could be added to breakfast area to heat muffins & danishes. Breakfast attendant was very kind & helpful & kept everything looking nice & stocked. The sheets & towels are obviously washed with strong bleach. Not very soft, but no germs at least! The last evening & morning we were there, the elevator's button on top/4th floor did not light up & would not bring elevator up. We told the evening desk man. If someone from downstairs happened to choose the 4th floor, it would stop on 4th. But, we weren't so lucky. Had to bring all our luggage & stuff down 4 flights of stairs when we checked out. Told a different desk man the problem. He looked surprised with no apology. So, there are some quirks, but for the good price through Expedia, it served its purpose just fine.

The breakfast area was very small, not a very good variety of food. The beds were uncomfortable. I left at 5am and the elevator was turned off and I was on the 4th floor. The ice machines were turned off. When I tried to check out there was no one at the front desk, I rang the bell twice and still no one came to help me.

Very good economical place to stay in KC. Well lighted and clean parking area. Room lighting is as good as any place I have ever stayed. Shower head was excellent. The property inside and outside is very well kept. Easy access to freeway.
