Online check-in was easy. Room was clean. After the first night, the heater was leaking water. Notified staff and they quickly changed my room without question. There is a nice tiki bar area outside and an indoor pool and hot tub. The hot tub was not working as of 12/30/25 but a maintenance note said it was being looked into. I would recommend this hotel.

The refrigerator was dirty, i had to wipe it out before we used it. The night stand was dirty with dust and debris, the hot tub was broken, the restaurant wasn’t open except for breakfast in which the one lady working was rude to me and my daughter when I was asking about it. I didn’t want to complain but decided to go to the front desk and the man was like a robot and had no personality or offered any help. On top of this the heat in the room wouldn’t stop running and it was hot and uncomfortable and the beds were hard as a brick! We ended up leaving a day early even though when i told the manager on duty they offered no compensation and literally don’t care at all, so i lost money but was just glad to get out of that all bad vibes hotel! There are a lot of other places that actually care and are nice to stay at in outer banks so definitely do not stay at the Ramada Kill devil hills, NC.

Staff know us by name, we have visited so often. Convenient loading and unloading in front of hotel. Elevator & luggage carts are a plus. Very convenient location and quiet ! Wish the indoor pool was warmer! We love staying here! Always feels very safe!

Yes, the room (126) was dated but it was also spotless. I have stayed at much newer hotels that couldn't touch the cleanliness of this room! Staff was excellent. Having the convenience to simply open the back door and walk out to a pet yard at 3am for my pup to potty was really nice. We will stay here again on our next visit.
