I am an architect that loves the work of starchitect Oscar Neimeyer. He designed the hotel in 1938. One of his first projects. It was a great place to experience his legendary vibe. The Owners have done a wonderful job to maintain the hotel in its grandness. We stayed in a two level suite that overlooks the city. Wow! What a memorable time. The staff is friendly and helpful. The meals at Oscar Restaurant are perfect. Parking was included.

Os colaboradores foram ótimos, com destaque para o Sr. Luciano e para Sra. Rosangela, ambos do Restaurante Oscar. Fomos excepcionalmente bem atendimentos pro eles. O Hotel tem um bom café da manhã e as refeições servidas estavam muito saborosa. O edifício histórico (projetado por Oscar Niemayer, contruido entre 1938 e 1940) está em boas condições de conservação. Em resumo, apesar de não ter elevador, gostamos muitíssimo.

O hotel, quando não está cheio, aparenta ter uma boa estrutura. No entanto, durante períodos de alta ocupação(esse final de semana) , fica evidente que a operação não consegue atender à demanda de forma adequada. Houve falta de organização especialmente no café da manhã. Além disso, chamou atenção a quantidade de hóspedes recorrendo a aplicativos de entrega de comida. Em resumo, o hotel parece não estar preparado para manter o padrão de qualidade quando está lotado, o que compromete significativamente a experiência. Nota 2

Tudo estava ótimo, estar em um dos primeiros projetos de Oscar Niemeyer não tem preço. Hotel já com certa idade mas tudo funcionando, único ponto que posso reclamar são das televisões, a do meu quarto não espelhava celular e não tinha opção de Netflix, deveriam atualizar as tvs.

Quarto pequeno, e demode, porem nos leva ao clima dos anos 50. Ótimo custo benefício. Bom restaurante com pratos tradicionais da época só faltou uma bossa nova. Localização impecavel. Faça tudo a pé e o que estiver distante vá de taxi ou transporte particular. Não caia na sugestão de fazer o paceio de jardineira indicado pela atendente. O maior mico, fica mais tempo na loja de artesanato.

Os quartos são amplos, bem iluminados e confortáveis em termos de espaço. Outro grande ponto positivo é a simpatia, atenção e gentileza de toda a equipe, sempre muito acolhedora e atenciosa. Como pontos a melhorar, o colchão é bastante firme e o café da manhã poderia ser mais saboroso e caprichado, à altura do charme e da importância do hotel.
