I am from the SE Iowa area and when I come home for a visit I always stay at the Hotel Ottumwa! I've been going there for breakfast since I was a little girl. Best stay around and such a beautiful building. Staff is great and the food is amazing!

This hotel is closing at the end of the month. We’ve stayed here a few times now and it’s always been a solid spot. The only negative is the beds aren’t very comfortable. BUT the breakfast is made to order which is included in the price and the people have always been amazing! We wish everyone luck in their next chapter!!

Wonderful breakfast

We enjoyed coming back to our home town and reminiscing. Hotel Ottumwa was the perfect location for us. The made to order breakfast was fantastic and all of the staff were so friendly and helpful.
