This property is not only clean, it is well maintained. The staff is very friendly, and the beds were extremely comfortable. And they have an elevator, which is heavenly for business travelers like me who have to travel heavy. I've had over 50 hotel stays this year, and this was one of the best. A great value!

I always stay at this hotel when traveling to Ottumwa/ Wapello County, Iowa, for work. Such friendly staff and always willing to go the extra mile! Great little place in a great little town--and near the best Mexican restaurant ever, as well (Tequila Grill). Yay!

We couldn’t get our TV to work when we arrived to our room. After many tries, we called the front desk. The front desk woman came to our room and tried to figure it out to no avail. She said she was going to send her manager to the room, he came into our room and complained about his “stupid staff,” hit something on a remote, tossed it at me, then left the room, now complains about “his staff are idiots.” The front desk lady may not have figured out the television, but she was kind and friendly. I feel bad that she has to work for that ogre of a man.

We stayed one night at this hotel and although our room was clean and beds where comfy, the desk light was flashing and didn’t work, the mini fridge was full of ice and the door wouldn’t close properly, the outlets where loose and the TV didn’t have any weather or news, just a few Radom channels. In the evening my husband went down to grab me a coffee and it was cold, don’t know how long it had been sitting. The toilet seat was very loose. Water pressure was good. At breakfast, napkins were missing and when I made a waffle the blueberry topping jar was empty. Overall I would not stay here again.

Would be better if breakfast was edible

I don’t know where you buy scrambled eggs and sausages but they are horrible. Even my cats didn’t want to eat sausage I brought. And those eggs felt like they were made out of plastic or silicone, no egg flavor at all. Please don’t feed people that nasty stuff. But in overall our stay was good. I used swimming pool and hot tub. Good location, not far from Bridge View Center.
