Nestled between Kyoto and Otsu City, our home is just a short 15-minute drive down the hill. While public buses serve the area, they run infrequently, so we recommend bringing your own car. Free parking is available on-site. The location offers an international, family-friendly environment surrounded by nature—perfect for a summer escape from the noise, heat, and hustle of the city. The area is rich in nature, and we frequently have local deer visit us. If you’re lucky, you might spot one in our garden in the early morning!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
All I can say is that this was the best experience I’ve had while travelling. The owners are so kind and helpful, they help you with checking in, taxi’s, suitcases and the communication is beyond expectations.The house is very clean and most things that you need is provided. Lots of space for bigger groups. The shower is very nice! And the AC’s work really well for both warm and cold. The house is located in a lovely little area on a mountain. It’s very quiet at night, so you will not be bothered. Easy bus exces, only till early night, but taking a taxi is very easy. I highly recommend going here, I can’t wait to be back!
