ホテルの顔である玄関の自動ドアの電源が切れてて、手動を強要してる。 Wifiが使えるか聞いたら、ロビー近くしか使えないといわれた。にも拘わらず部屋にランケーブルも無ければ、言わないと貸してくれない。大荷物持ってるのに階段でどうぞ！と言われた。（エレベーターもあるのに） 部屋の鍵が解りにくいのに説明なし。（鍵を回しながらドアを押さないと開かない）ホテルの門限23時。 歴史的には有名な地である点と川の中州に建てられたホテルなので景色は良いけど、何もなくて不便だった… フロントも居たり居なかったり、呼び鈴を押すタイプ。 愛想は悪くなかったけど、シルバー人材センターのアルバイトって感じだった。 掃除はよくされてたけど、施設は古く快適とはいいがたかった… 眺望は良かったけど、リピートはしないな。

大浴場とあったので、このホテルを選びましたが、実際は、大浴場と中規模(５～７名)があって、日によって男性用と女性用になるようでした。　宿泊した日は、中規模だったので、大浴場の規模はわかりません。 夕食は外のプランでしたので、フロントに案内を求めましたがあまり答えてもらえず、仕方なく自分で調べていきました。太鼓橋を渡ったところに飲食店が複数あってとても良い場所でした。ほかの宿泊者がいなかったので、とても静かに過ごせました。

古き良き時代を知る人のための宿泊施設

老朽化した施設だが手入れはひと通り行き届いている。今時の過剰なサービスは一切ないが浴場が付いてこの宿泊料金であれば逆にお得な気分にさせてくれる。学生時代にバックパッカーや一人旅が好きだったひとに強くオススメする。

Wi-Fiが部屋についていないのが残念でした。 作業するときに1階まで行かないといけないのは少し面倒でした。 価格は安いので値段相応なのかなとも思いました。

最近のホテルとして見たら、色々気になるところは多いと思います。古い建物ですし、部屋の中は独特の匂いがありました。エレベーターはありません。Wi-Fiはありません（有線LANの口はありましたがLANケーブルはありませんでした） ただ、駐車場は無料でしたし、シャワー、トイレ、冷蔵庫、テレビといったごく普通のものは普通にあります。クオリティに重きは置かず、単に「寝るだけ」として使う分には問題ないと思います。あとは自分の準備でカバーできるので。コンビニは徒歩10分弱のとこにありました。これを遠いと見るか近いと見るか。個人的には問題なしです。目的や自分の趣向を踏まえて、考えて選んでください。

瀬田の唐橋

ホテルが中洲にあり　唐橋のたもとからアプローチに繋がっていて、客室からは　夕陽に浴びた瀬田川での　ボートの練習風景を見ることも出来　今まで　味わったことのない感動を覚えました。
