It was a little confusing finding the entrance to the property and finding our room. Keys and room numbers were in envelopes marked with customers names and taped to a window. Our room was small but clean and adequate. More hooks and/or hanging space would be helpful. With fewer decorative items around, the room would be more functional and more comfortable. The setting was beautiful with lovely views looking out over the countryside.

The unit we were in was immaculate and the views were spectacular, would recommend it to anyone. The breakfast was very good also, with plenty of choice. Trevor is an amiable and welcoming host, Jack and Harley are equally welcoming ( the dogs).

I book lots of rooms on hotels.com This is the first time I have ever accidentally vooked a room without an en-suite. I think the website could be much clearer in stating that over half of the rooms do no have an en suite. There are seven rooms…not four as stated in hotels.com. Four have a shared bathroom. The place is very clean and very well managed.

The location was stunning, the room spotless, the host charming and breakfast fab. Pity I only had one night , as there is even a hot tub with a view. Will have to try and make a return visit.

Such a lovely B&B. The pictures don’t do this place justice. It is so nice and quiet with a beautiful garden and view over the hills. The room and bathroom were pretty and clean and homely and the provided breakfast was simple but still great. I will definitely be coming back!

Is was a very unique experience. I felt like beeing at home. Birds can be heard from the orchard in the Morning Trevor is very friendly, clear instructions and easy to get in.

If you like B&Bs, this is a nice one. It was super clean. The owner was friendly. A continental breakfast was included. The location was super convenient as it was only about fifteen minutes from the Waitomo Caves - which are best seen early in the morning before the crowds get there.
