The bar was well stocked, with a good choice of drinks. The breakfast was very nice indeed, with an excellent choice on the menu, as well as a good variety of cereals, yogurts and cakes. The staff were excellent. From checking in, housekeeping and restaurant staff. They were all very friendly and helpful.

Pleasant hotel

Stayed for 3 nights. The room was a little smaller than in most modern hotels but the shower room was excellent, well equipped and stylish. Nespresso coffee machine in the room... no fridge. Welcoming and helpful reception staff. Service in the restaurant was mixed - just not quite as attentive as it might have been. The food was good but unadventurous, and reasonably priced. Overall we were satisfied and would stay there again.

The property in the main public areas are good, restaurant is good too but the rooms are poor and very dated. They are not cleaned properly with stains on the carpet and mold in the bathrooms. This is the second time we have stayed here and tried to give them a second chance. The restaurant is four star but not the rooms.

A great stay at an excellent hotel

Everything about our stay was wonderful from the very start. The managers kind and 100 percent focussed on hospitality. The interior was impressively decorated and the rooms beautiful. Cosy beds, excellent bed linen and fluffy towels. Great staff, consistently excellent food. Flexible and generous breakfast options. Highly recommend.

Great for a one night en route stay. Staff were very friendly, he room n bed very nice/comfortable. Room quiet, especially when the bar closed n outsiders left. I could keep the window open.

Quaint and comfy

We really did enjoy our stay. The restaurant and bar staff were extremely pleasant and well trained. The room was comfortable and spacious, a fresh coat of paint would do it good though. I wouldnt put it in the class of luxury hotel because of the age of the hotel. However, it was charming and comfortable. The back garden area was lovely to sit and have a drink.

Just a one night stay for us as we were attending a wedding. Really lovely stay, staff all friendly, room was beautiful however it didn’t smell great but otherwise lovely and clean, view lovely and breakfast was lovely I felt terrible for leaving it because it was so delish!

A cosy hotel with accommodating staff. Safe and free parking. Nice bar and a beautiful outdoor area - it’s biggest plus! Breakfast looked lovely and the cooked English breakfast was very good. However, gluten free options were limited so if you have dietary needs I would check in advance how they will cater for this.
Country style spacious bedroom. Cosy bed. Pillow mist and bottled water a nice touch.
Modern clean bathroom. Robes provided. Nice toiletries.
Small room to flop in. Would be nice to share a glass of wine together, separate from the bedroom.
