When I first got to the front desk, the lady of the desk looked at me as if I wanted to steal something from her. Instead of. Hello welcome how are you? How may I help you? She wanted to know what I wanted. After that initial negative experience the subsequent staff was more helpful.

Okay. The location is convenient to the main town area. The front desk receptionist when we checked in was unfriendly. The hallways smelled like marijuana and the walls weree very thing so you could hear you the neigboring rooms. The furniture was also no well kept, one of the drawer handles was completely hanging off and another wouldn't close. The staff managing the breakfast was super friendly.

Had to change cards 3 times, 4th time we were finally moved to a new room. The new room was so dirty. Hair in the bed sheets on both beds, trash on the floor by the dresser, the bed skirts were covered in stains, splatters of something on the walls, black mold growing in the window. The floor needed to be vacuumed. Completely dissatisfied with our stay. The amount of money that was paid, and the room we got was terrible.

I stayed here previously and had a good experience, so it was my go to hotel when I came back to Oswego again. However, I felt misled about the payment process when I returned. I was told I could pay in cash and I had more than enough in cash when I arrived, and yet I was asked for my card. Because I technically didn't have enough money on my card, I couldn't check in. The hotel claimed that there was nothing they could do, and I had to both cancel my stay and find a different hotel at the last minute (missing the hockey game as a result). I was misled and I'm not sure if I want to do business with the Clarion again.

The check-in clerk was very helpful and was able to get us into our room a bit early--which we appreciated. But one of the elevators was broken (with a large "Out of Service" sign hung on it in the lobby), but it wasn't shut off. So each time we pressed the button to go to our room, the broken elevator would open and wait and delay the working elevator from coming to that floor. In addition, the shower in room 424 had very low water pressure. You had to move around to get wet.

Room was clean, well kind of. Cobwebs in corners, window sill had mold and shower had mold along with corners in bathrrom filled with dirt and debris. Breakfast was good. People running in halls and above us and noisy.
