I stayed here previously and had a good experience, so it was my go to hotel when I came back to Oswego again. However, I felt misled about the payment process when I returned. I was told I could pay in cash and I had more than enough in cash when I arrived, and yet I was asked for my card. Because I technically didn't have enough money on my card, I couldn't check in. The hotel claimed that there was nothing they could do, and I had to both cancel my stay and find a different hotel at the last minute (missing the hockey game as a result). I was misled and I'm not sure if I want to do business with the Clarion again.

The check-in clerk was very helpful and was able to get us into our room a bit early--which we appreciated. But one of the elevators was broken (with a large "Out of Service" sign hung on it in the lobby), but it wasn't shut off. So each time we pressed the button to go to our room, the broken elevator would open and wait and delay the working elevator from coming to that floor. In addition, the shower in room 424 had very low water pressure. You had to move around to get wet.

Room was clean, well kind of. Cobwebs in corners, window sill had mold and shower had mold along with corners in bathrrom filled with dirt and debris. Breakfast was good. People running in halls and above us and noisy.

We had a little family emergency and I had a straight 15-hour drive to New York. I booked this hoping just to get some rest and a hot shower after a long trip. The first room was completely Dusty. There was hair on the table and crumbs in the dressers. There was mold in the shower. I hate to complain but I finally called downstairs and then moved me to a second room. Second room was even worse condition. By that time I was so exhausted I just crawled in the bed and slept. I have pictures. I can't believe they allow somebody to stay in rooms like that! Especially after the cost of the hotel it wasn't a cheap one.

Room was in unsafe conditions: very poor water pressure, very long time until there was hot water, no instructions for tv operation, dirt and crud on bathroom edges, very slippery tub bottom, spiders in bathtub, the window latch does not function, window easily opened, no screen or safety bar. No vending machines on our floor as advertised. No ice available as advertised. Hallway carpet in poor shape. The only positive about your motel is the breakfast and breakfast staff: food is fresh, staff friendly and helpful. 24 hour coffee availability is great. The bar food is super, good atmosphere, attentive staff.

The linens on the bed were not clean the room needed to be vacuumed there were crumbs debris on the carpet. The furniture was dated stained the lampshades were broken on some lamps. For the price of this room we have stayed at Hilton Hotels in cities like Cleveland. The texts to check on how things were after we checked in were not responded to, we needed to go to the front desk so the expectation that responding to the texts was a request for assistance that would be reviewed was obviously the wrong expectation
