A 3 week trip to Norway. We stayed in 4 hotels - 3 of these Scandic properties. The Victoria was recommended by a travel agent and friends. It is close to major Oslo attractions but located in a largely business area so feels less safe at night. Of the 4 hotels, this one shows its age. The shower is just a dribble, the shower drain doesn’t so the floor gets wet. The lobby coffee machine didn’t work. And, this is the only place we had to check in at breakfast rather than just walk in. We preferred the Anker in Oslo as a better location and in better condition for a similar price.

I had a courtyard facing room and It was super quiet and dark (using the blackout curtains). Exactly what I needed after traveling for 2 days. Very easy to walk to places and nearby public transportation. Staff were all very friendly.

Weekend i Oslo

Perfekt läge mellan Karl Johan och Aker Brygge. Vi hade ett rum inåt och det var tyst. Däremot lät AC:n en del, lyckades få ned ljudet men inte temperaturen. Bra stort stort rum att bre ut sig i och stor toalett. Lite 90-tal kakel på väggarna men nyare klinker. Frukostbuffén var suverän med massor att välja på. Rekommenderar att besöka Kon-Tiki och Fram museet, mycket intressanta. En dag i Vigelandsparken och Botanisk hage var toppen.

Excellent location, staff are a bit rude and service is not the best, we had to chase them and deal with their attitude to get basic stuff like hand soap, no phone even in the room so easy things like reaching the house keeping is not easy at this hotel.
