Budget hotel but not as I would have expected. Great self service check in until something goes wrong and you have to wait….no one came even though machine said they would! Fortunately someone coming out let us in so we could find the support we needed hiding behind an unmanned reception! Room was a decent size but had a sloping roof so you couldn’t easily get out of bed without having to bend to avoid it…and we are not tall! The under floor heating was lovely but only in the bathroom the bedroom floor was like hard plastic matting not comfortable at all and hare to think what it would be like in the winter! No way to manage temperature of room. No shampoo and conditioner as advised. Hairdryer wouldn’t hook on so was on floor constantly which was a hazard really given shower leaked all the time. Not much space for hanging clothes which was ok for us given only staying for 2 nights but any longer you would have to live out of case. No drawers to put anything so we had to have things in case anyway. Decor etc lovely and great kitchen area but I would have preferred some tea and coffee in room without having to pay for it though a crap machine that you had to buy milk for separately and place it in a shared fridge…very odd. We were in room 655 but whatever room I was in don’t think review would be much different! Would not recommend to anyone even though in a fantastic area and easy to get to everywhere walking

Clean, compact room. Flooring was a little scruffy and some room fixtures were damaged. Communal areas were cosy and well equipped to prepare / reheat meals, make drinks, relax etc..

It was perfect for a one night stay between flying into Oslo and taking off on the ship. There’s a very small room which was fine for me. I’m single. It’s very clean. Bed was comfortable and the shower bathroom floor was heated so it was lovely.

My checkin by machine experience was new to me but I managed. The room was very clean and perfect for my visit. The one negative was no parking. There was a garage but it did not belong to the hotel and charged for parking.
