We really enjoyed staying at The Gala Hotel Umeda. The staff were very friendly and easy to talk, and very helpful. Our room was excellent. It was very functional, had a lot of hangers, even a washer & dryer! We did not hear anything from next rooms. It was very quiet!

I stayed in Room 805. Amazing room. Spacious and it had a washing machine/dryer! Liquid gold for a traveller. Water pressure in the shower was AMAZING! Breakfast was good, small selection but good. Only complaint is the beds were sooooo hard. Staff helpful. Location excellent.

The greatest thing about Japan and Osaka is how friendly everyone is. If you like a more laid back experience, Osaka is the ticket. Its like a frat party, but city wide.

A newly renovated and opened hotel with decent size hotel rooms. The setup in the room is very functional (e.g. enough space to open large suitcase and functional desk and chair that have enough space). Have all the amenities that one would expect and need in a hotel room. Located one subway stop away from Umeda shopping district within walking distance. It’s in a quiet neighborhood which I prefer. Have a mini AEON store across the street and a few restaurants and a drug mart so it’s convenient to buy necessities when needed. Five minutes walk to the subway station. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Incredible Hotel! Great location!

We had a wonderful stay at The Gala Hotel in Umeda, Osaka as a multigenerational family of six. The hotel was exceptionally family-friendly and made traveling with both kids and grandparents incredibly easy and enjoyable. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed—plenty of space for everyone to relax. The bathroom and shower were particularly impressive—modern, spotless, and truly luxurious. One of the sweetest touches was the welcome packs for the kids, complete with the most adorable little slippers. It made our children feel so special and welcomed from the start. The hotel’s location is outstanding, with easy access to several major train lines. It made exploring Osaka a breeze, and we were able to take seamless day trips to Kyoto and Nara, which was a big plus for our itinerary. Visually, the hotel is beautiful—filled with colorful accents and lush greenery that gave it a fresh, calming atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace—a peaceful spot to sip coffee and ease into the day before heading out. We’d absolutely recommend The Gala Hotel to any family, especially those traveling in a larger group. It truly felt like a thoughtful, comfortable, and stylish home away from home.

Väldigt trevlig och serviceinriktad personal. Rummen hade en liten kyl, mjuka täcken, bra AC och bra badkar. Sängen var aningens hård och enstaka gånger kunde man höra något tåg passera, men inte så att man vaknade. Inga problem att få tvättid till tvättmaskinerna. Trevliga gratis produkter i lobbyn som badsalt, morgonrockar, kaffe, ansiktstvätt mm.

万博のために利用しました。会場までは電車乗り換えありで40分ほどですがホテルが駅近なので行きも帰りも楽でした。エントランスの雰囲気がよく、まったりした空気が流れている良い感じのホテルでした。チェックイン前やチェックアウト時の手荷物預けもスムーズでした。
