Fresh breakfast, great views of the city from both the room and the breakfast restaurant. Service was impeccable: by our second night of stay, the cleaning/maid staff realized 2 bottles of complimentary water wasn’t enough they stocked 4 bottles of mineral water for free. The best part of the hotel was that the Namba station was almost within the building, which meant that the train rides around the city were a breeze. Overall, we are definitely visiting again.

We were in the third week of a month-long trip to Asia. We stayed only 1 night in Swissôtel Nankai in Osaka, with breakfast included next morning. The staff were helpful except how they handled our request to move our initial room due to a STRONG smell of smoke. They assigned us another room that had both sides doors to adjoining rooms. We didn’t realize how the noise would be heard by us until 1130pm to 12 midnight when one of the neighbors could be heard having loud conversation and loud laughter. Under normal circumstances, this would be fine, but not at midnight! My husband called the Service desk, and instead of informing the neighbours, the staff called back half an hour later stating they had come upstairs and could not hear anything! We continued to hear the neighbours, and as a result, got very poor sleep! The breakfast, however, and the room itself, was excellent.

Overall stay was excellent. The best location possible if you’re idea of a vacation is to shop like ours is. Won’t ever consider staying anywhere else while in Osaka. The hotel was one of the best I ever stayed ever! It is truly 5 Star quality. The Breakfast Room on the 36th Floor had a spectacular view that matched the quality of the room. The location is also excellent and close to everything. I would stay there again!
