Conveniently located to the train station and walkable to Shin-Osaka. Out 2nd stay at the hotel in 12 months. Like the laundry facility and the amenities in the lobby. Recommend this hotel.

We appreciated the helpful staff and quiet room. The location was as expected which is not that near the centre but has access to both metro and JR. The bed was quite good. Cleaning was average as there were some hairs on the bed. The two problems were 1) the quilt is not big enough for two people and a second one could not be provided and 2) the breakfast which is kind of not nice at all and was really the bare minimum for a business hotel, the hotel could take influence from APA hotel breakfast which was much more fresh and delicious. We really do not recommend the breakfast. If the hotel can fix these two things it would be a better selection for 2 people. However, if you are a single person and don't want breakfast it could be a good choice.

Room is big and comfy the staff is very nice and accommodating. Just like 5 min walk to station that goes straight to the tourist areas. Lots of convinis near and food. 7min walk to the bullet train station! Beds are good but pillow hard as a rock lol for me. Has two floors with laundry and dryer which is so convenient. Had ice and vending machines too. They also helped me transfer my luggage to the next hotel!

Found the air conditioner hard to get the temperature right (no other issues at previous hotels). But comfortable beds (we had a twin room). Customer service was great. We came in dripping wet from our walk from train station and staff gave us towels to dry off. We were supplied fresh towels daily. It would be nice to have more than 1 card for the door. Often myself and husband were out at separate times so a 2nd card wouldve made life easier. Hotel is also an easy 3 min walk to metro train station and about a 10-12 min walk from Shin-Osaka Station. Would definitely stay here again.

We LOVED our stay at Smile Hotel. It is our first time in Japan. From the services and amenities, everything was EXCEPTIONAL. We loved the helpful staff, even though they were not speaking english, we manage to communicate with the translator. I forgot an adapter for my laptop and I needed one as I was writing a final exam during my stay and they lended me one. I also needed a ethernet cable and I found one when I arrived. For western residents wondering about the bed sizes, we are a chubby couple and their double bed was more than enough for both of us. They have laundry with auto-detergent (meaning you don't need to add detergent as it has itself), they can provide you an iron at the front desk. I’ll just say that if you have any question about something you may need, don’t hesitate to ask them, they will answer you and if they can they will definitely help you too :) Thank you so much! We are looking forward to staying with you again! ❤️
