Excellent location and views, bar the works on the promenade, spacious rooms, excellent gym, hearty breakfast. Shame we didn’t manage to use the spa facilities. Would be nice to have some sake accompany the good dinner buffet at the restaurant.

The hotel was gorgeous. The room was huge. We didn’t eat here for breakfast, but we did have the buffet dinner which was delicious. This is definitely a more premium hotel and the restaurant prices reflected this but there is a 7-11 next door for cheaper options. It was walking distance to Universal Studios which is why we chose this hotel and the train station is conveniently across the street.

Oustanding staff! A special thank you for staff helping with train transportation at concierge. She was extremely kind, friendly, professional and guided us to excellent miso ramen shops in Kyoto and train information from Liber Hotel to Hiroo station in Tokyo. Our room was very clean and staff took pride and great care of us and the room. Front desk staff check in was smooth, professional. We highly recommend to other guests and look forward to a future stay at the Liber for a return visit!! Absolute perfection!

Across the street from the commuter train station, 3 mins walk to 7-Eleven and 5 mins walk to Lawson's convenience stores. 20 mins walk to Universal Studios entrance. Very large and clean hotel with decent sized rooms and good shower. Good restaurant on-site too.

Staying at the Liber Osaka was a disappointing experience. The staff seemed continually on edge, overworked, and indifferent to hospitality. The hotel apparently has focused on large, commercially organized Chinese and Korean tour groups. We had to wait in line daily for the breakfast service with 60 people waiting in line for tables. When we could not get a table before breakfast closing time, they told us to re-purpose our breakfast meal ticket for a discount on dinner. However, that hindered our travel plans since we didn't want to rush back to the hotel for a buffet dinner and wait in line again. In the evening, it was necessary to wait in line for the only 2 microwaves in the hotel at 1F to warm meals. Requests, such as a late checkout, were denied and out of the question. Although an effort is made to organize the chaos, the atmosphere and energy at the Liber is one of tension and stress. After three weeks in Japan, we became accustomed to warm welcomes and helpful staff that treated us with great respect and courtesy. The Liber Osaka was an exception to that. We would search every other accommodation option before considering the Liber.

The breakfast is overpriced. Boiled bacon, liquid scrambled eggs,and rather insipid coffee. The chef kindly fried my bacon. However, while better, it still did not match the taste of American bacon. I found the salmon and other fish not tasty at all.

Spacious room, but no drawers or shelves. Room cleaning was a little hit and miss - carpet was never effectively cleaned, supplies sometimes not replenished, mugs uncleaned during full service. Excellent aircon, spectacular lobby. Staff very courteous and helpful, but when advertised as English spoken, surprisingly few staff spoke English to any reasonable standard. Excellent location oppostite JR train station, adjacent to Expo bus station and easy 20 min walk from Universal Studios. Meal in cafe was excellent

This was a perfect choice for our stay in Osaka for 10 days back in July. Beautifully decorated and grand lobby with upscale decor and facilities. The room was spotless, with very nice AC and housekeeping service. Generous toiletries and replenishments of drinks each day. They even provided pain relief patches for foot and shoulder for free. The hot spring in the hotel was wonderful. Awesome restaurants especially the Japanese styled buffet breakfast and dinner. Customer service was superb, on point and responsive. We attended the World Expo Osaka-Kansai, and the hotel provided very detailed guidance and recommendations about the visit. There was actually a shuttle bus (for a minimal fee) from the hotel directly to the Expo. The hotel rep also gave us excellent advice as to where and how to explore Kyoto and Osaka, and where to park our rental car. Overall this was a dream come true trip and a 5 star quality hotel. We will be back!
