Great experience! Staff were very nice and friendly. Very comfortable and clean space. I personally love the design of the whole hostel and the use of timber! Very spacious. Although its quite a walk to either of the station, lovely and peaceful neighbourhood. Got a supermarket, pharmacy store, and plenty of convenience stores nearby.

Very, very comfortable environment. Looks nice, feels very homely. Staff very nice, friendly and helpful. Was easy to socialize, make friends! Spacious dormitory is very appreciated, feels great. Shower is great. Only complaint really is it’s a pretty far walk to the nearest station, and the bed felt VERY stiff (could feel wood at my hip).

The place was great, nice staff, clean and a great location. One staff member gave us so many recommendations she was fantastic and made our trip so much better. There is no way I would have found the submarine bar with guidance. I don’t know her name but she used to live in Eastbourne. Thank you for all your help!

I left. It was sooooo loud. I can hear the people at the desk. There was no regulation on the lights in the room or sounds. The bed was so thin. It was very hot and uncomfortable inside. I went to a hotel the night I checked in.

Upon arrival, I was amazing surprised by the warm welcome of Mao, the receptionist on duty even around 23:30. Checkin was easy with her help, furthermore she impressed me that she is a superwoman. She carried my 23 Kg bag up to the next floor for me without a sweat. I wanted to say thank to her again in the next few days of my stay, but was told she would not be on duty again until next week.

The best hotel I've ever stayed. They did a good job in the shower area's ventilation. Just it's a bit inconvenient, especially for female guests, all the shower rooms are located at 1/F, all guests (both males and females) have to walk through the public lounge/living area in order to take the shower. Yet, understand that it might be a "structural" issue for the architecture. Also, the location of the hostel was inside a residential district. Slightly far away from the metro/subway station (with slopes). But all in all, my stay was much more comfortable and better than expected.

이 정도 품질의 호스텔이라면 충분히 상위급의 시설이라고 생각합니다. 건물은 낡은 느낌없이 적절한 공간(화장실, 세면대, 샤워실, 주방 등)이 배치되어 있습니다. 침실 또한 특별히 불쾌함을 느끼지 못했을정도로 비교적 잘 관리가 되어 있습니다. 많은 리뷰에서 지적했듯이, 지하철역과 도보 기준 거리가 꽤 멀기는 합니다. 아쉬운 점이기는 하지만, 지하철역까지만 간다면 다른 주요 명소에 가기에 가깝다고 느낍니다. 호스텔 앞은 조용한 동네이며, 초등학교가 있는데 아이들이 운동장에서 체육활동을 하는 모습을 지나치다가 보면 귀엽다는 생각이 듭니다. 다만 도보로 호스텔 주변에 즐길만한 음식점이 별로 없어서, 특히 늦은 시간대에는 식사가 힘들 수 있다는 점을 유념하십시오. 아쉬웠던 점은 호스텔 운영진의 서비스 태도 입니다. 상대적으로 영어를 원활하게 하는 능력은 의사소통에 도움이 되었으나, 전반적으로 친절함을 느끼기는 어렵다는 생각합니다. 잘 숙련된 숙박업소 직원의 매너라기 보다는, 젊은이의 날 것 그대로의 자유분방함에 더 가까웠습니다. 몇몇 문의사항이 생겼을때 그로인해 불편함이 있었던 점이 아쉽습니다. 수건은 무료로 제공되지 않습니다. 또한 여러 일을 숙박해도 호텔처럼 침대 시트를 갈아주지 않습니다. 침대시트도 사실 첫날에 숙박객이 스스로 설치를 해야 합니다. 오사카에 머무는데 ‘호스텔’을 머물러야 한다면 이 곳은 추천할만한 매력이 있다고 생각합니다. 하지만 범위를 조금 더 넓혀서, 추천할만한 종합적인 ‘숙소’냐고 한다면 비추천할만한 이유가 몇 가지 떠오르는 것은 어쩔 수 없습니다. 선택에 참고하시고 이 호스텔이 고려할만한 옵션이 되길 바랍니다.

정말 좋았습니다!! 숙소 분위기도 진짜 깔끔하고 함께 숙박하는 대부분의 사람들도 다들 너무 친절하셨습니다!! 저는 이번이 첫 여행이라 잘 모르지만 함께 숙박한 다른 분들께서 자기가 묵었던 곳 중에 이곳이 손에 꼽을 정도로 깔끔하고 잘 관리된 티가 나는 곳이라고 하셨습니다!

初めて利用しましたが、カプセル内にちゃんとした施錠が出来る貴重品ロッカーが欲しかったです。南京錠がないと施錠出来ないタイプで、全て貴重品を持ち歩いて移動しました。受付スタッフですが、学生のバイトなのかヘラヘラした態度と、接客中のスタッフ同士の談笑と、見える範囲でゲームをしてたり等、ちょっとどうかなと思ってしまいました。清掃は行き届いており、良かったです。

I just spent 5 days in Osaka at the Hostel Mitsuwaya as a solo traveler. The place itself is relatively small ( 2 floors + roof top ), but it just makes it easier to meet new people. The hostel is very clean and the staff is so friendly ! They gladly answered many of my questions (ex. restaurant recommendation, places to go out, directions, etc.) I thought the beds offered enough room and privacy (keep in mind there are Japanese style beds that means you'll sleep on a futon instead of a mattress). The rooms are on the second floor while the showers are on the first floor, but in my opinion it wasn't a problem. The location is very good : the neighborhood is quiet, however you can go by walk to Dotombori where all the night life takes place. The only detail was that the breakfast was very basic and always the same, but it was free which makes it hard to complaint. Overall, I am totally satisfied by my experience there, I would definitely go back or recommend this hostel.
