Movie buff's dream

The staff was super nice and helpful. The rooms have Netflix and Amazon Prime! It was really nice to relax and watch movies after being out all day. The location was perfect. 10 minutes from two major train stations. Tons of shops and restaurants that were open all through the new years holidays!

Excellent Hostel

The room is big... The kitchen have all the equipment for cook or reheat the food and it is free to use... The nearest metro station can reach kyoto without hassle... 5 - 10 minutes walk to Shinsaibashi / Dotonbori.. 5 - 10 minute walk to nearest Nara Kintetsu Line (Nipponbashi Station)... Location wise I would rate this place 10/10... Highly recommend.

Quiet stay

Very quiet place. Saw no one else staying except for us. Staff are super friendly and speak very good English. Place was clean and room was a good size. Location is good with a post shop, laundry Matt and a gym just seconds down the road. If you go to the gym, bring a change of shoes and your passport. 10 minute walk to metro and about 20 minute walk to JR Namba station.

Nice hostel

Nice hostel near Dotombori, just walk there around 10 minutes. Hotel is close to Nagahoribashi station but we cannot find elevator to go up and down. So it maybe tough if anyone carry heavy luggages. It does have elevator but need some walking there. The room was nice. We’re staying in the room with private shower room, that one is smaller than share bathroom. We recommend to stay with share bathroom if you dont mind with that. Share bathroom is very clean and nice even my room has private one, I still use share bathroom because its size is bigger.

Perfect location. Walking distance to Dotonbori. Metro lines are really close. My room “1 double 1 single, 2 people stayed” was a bit small and there was a staircase base which hindered a bit our movements in the room. No laundry inside hostel but there is a close self service laundry close to the hostel. Overall nice staying and would stay again just for the location and convenient price

"Convenient Location”

Room is extremely small but comfy and good facility. walking distance to Shinsaibashi shopping street and close to subway station. The staff were friendly.

This was my first experience in a hostel and I was more than satisfied with the staff, the room, and all of the amenities. The staff members were always willing to assist with recommendations on places to visit and restaurants. The washrooms and showers were always clean which made the stay even more satisfying. The location was a few minutes away from the shopping district and really close to local bars and café's. It was very convenient not having to hop on the subway all the time. Thank you to all of the staff at e-hostel Shinsaibashi! I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Osaka.

Clean restrooms and showers

Nice hostel on a quiet street. A little distance from the main shopping belt, but there are eateries nearby and along the way. Nearest subway exits don’t have escalators / elevators. If you have heavy / big luggage, try to to look for the elevator that take you to the street level and then walk to hostel. Can’t remember the exit number, except it showed an elevator logo and carpark. It brings you up to street level ( in the middle of a street). The toilets and restrooms were clean during our 1 night stay. Didn’t explore the rest of the hostel. The ground floor / reception area is cozy. Our room was a little cramped, but not unexpected. Thought the space could be better though.
