We liked the location, very close to train station. The onsen was slightly disappointing after being at a larger Dormy Inn in Kyoto. Very large room for Japan and the shower had amazing water pressure.

This hotel was very clean, a the staff were very professional. This is in the business district, so the surrounding area was very clean and safe. The onsite onsen was amazing. The complimentary ramen at night was a nice bonus. The breakfast you can purchase was very delicious. Just a few stops away from the hustle and bustle of Dotonbori but way cleaner and quieter. Walking to Osaka Castle was a nice stroll.

I have only taken it down to 4 star because the rooms are a little depressing, The redeeming feature is the most wonderful Onsen and all the little freebies when travelling with kids, my daughter loved the free ramen. It’s just a lovely welcoming place and first impressions certainly didn’t count here. It was truly fabulous stay due to the Onsen.
