This is my second time staying at dormy inn. The first time was in Tokyo.thwre the hotel felt newer and the onsen was better managed. The onsen at the Osaka branch needs to enforce rules more for guests. During my stay there were so many Korean guests that were loud and noisy in the onsen . Their children ran around the bathing area and played in the bathes. It was very annoying. Worst part is, the older men had the habit of spitting onto the floors as they bathedand didn't even bother using water to wash it away. Many also had tattoos. This is not how a Japanese onsen should be .

Good price, good location. Room cleaned everyday (option for this) and spacey enough (18 sqm), can leave heater on when leaving the room too. Onsen is nice, with everything you need there, including lotions. Elevators are fast. Streets are a bit busy at night but otherwise no complaints.

The amenities sold me. Everything was clean, worked, free laundry, coffee, tea, desserts, soup at night. The spa was awesome! The breakfast was more expensive then other hotels but worth the $15 USD for the premium selection. For me, most activities were walkable. I felt safe always. The downside, it's in a noisy area, bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper and the pillows were horrible and no English stations on the TV that I could find. The wifi worked good, you don't need toiletries, they provide them. Laye checkout is offered for a reasonable fee too, as late as 2pm!

Clean room and I loved the bath house! Close to stations and dotonbori. Would stay again if I'm ever in Osaka.
