Even some geologists claim that in 1223 BC it was the volcanic eruption of bolsena that deposited in this soil the tuff rock mass of Rocca Ripesena and that of Orvieto. the Borgo has a few resident families, and a small and humble church that was completely rebuilt at the beginning of the 1900s and consecrated a few years later, where Mass is celebrated every Sunday in a very particular context, woods and hills are the setting to a panorama nothing short of fantastic.
