We booked this Vrbo because it listed a pool and had enough space for our family of 10. Upon arrival, we learned the pool is closed November–April, which was not stated in the listing. The host acknowledged the oversight but denied compensation. Despite the home being advertised for 10 guests, there wasn’t enough seating for all of us to sit together for meals.Inside, several upkeep issues stood out. Some bedroom and bathroom doors got stuck and required force to open, and a few lights didn’t work properly. The upstairs bathroom had rust on multiple surfaces and a shower liner stained with pink mold, and the downstairs bathroom glass door had chalky stains, appearing unclean. Only one roll of toilet paper was provided per bathroom to which the host said was custom of bookings. There are exposed wires near the outdoor electrical panel.Pros- Hot tub worked, well-stocked kitchen, spacious living room with large TV, safe neighborhood with great trails, responsive hostUltimately, the rental did not feel like it had been properly attended to prior to our arrival.
