Our experience was semi disappointing. Unfortunately, we feel that we were taken advantage of money wise as the home did not appear to be ready for any guests.There were numerous issues throughout our stay, including:ā¢Burn marks on many surfacesā¢ALOT of damaged or incomplete furnitureā¢A strong smell of marijuana throughout the houseā¢Dirty floors, mirrors with visible residue, food stuck on walls, and holes in the walls ā¢Multiple TVs not functioningā¢A broken freezer handleā¢Missing/damaged blindsā¢Significant water damage ā¢A dryer vent that was not properly connected, which was pushing carbon monoxide into the upstairs ā¢ No working air upstairs the whole week, resulting in us having to go buy multiple box fans to stay comfortableā¢The pool heat did not work for three days, and by the end of our stay the pool had developed an insane amount of algaeWhile the host seemed very kind and responsive, the overall condition of the home fell far below expectations. The listing pictures made it seem a lot nicer. I feel that normal wear and tear is expected in a rental home, but these issues went far beyond that. I think the property has a lot of potential. The location was great. I just think the host needs to ensure that the housekeeping staff is actually doing their duties, and it needs significant upkeep and maintenance to make the home rental worthy.
