Firstly, this may not be the same for every villa here, but our experience is as follows.
Two table chairs were loose, so when you sat on them, they nearly split in half, and the main sofa was broken, so when you sat on it, you were nearlly sitting on the floor.
Now, the owner did get someone round to fix these, however they turned up at 21:30, and didn't leave until nearly 23:00 at night. He was to busy talking on his phone. Trying to get a 4 year old to sleep while there is drilling and banging is a hard task.
He ended up taking away a chair to fix, and i was told I'd have it back the next day, so we could all sit up to the table for family meals.
This never happened, and after continuous messages to the owner, i was completely ignored.
The main remote for the tv is sticky, the buttons don't work, the ceeling fans upstairs were loose and would rattle and squeak when on even the lowest setting.
It may be good to offer a welcome folder, with instructions etc gor things and local amenities like most places do, but nothing in place.
Loads of marks on kitchen sides from previous visits.
The jacuzzi bath, now this didn't work, then when it finally did, we had to run it 5 times with clean water, as it has never been cleaned, and would result in little bits of black slime coming into bath water, which was very off putting. No communication from owner on this whatsoever.
Mould around bath and floor in the main bathroom downstairs.
