The hotel swapped from Red Lion to Radisson on our day of travel. The check-in process was incredibly frustrating - it took over an hour to get checked in. The line was out the door from 4:00 until we returned from our event just before midnight. They did a TERRIBLE job by not communicating anything to the guests and just expected everyone to understand without so much as an explanation. The hotel is great - we've stayed there 5 times already in the past 3 months, but this stay was terrible and I've considered not coming back because of how un-empathetic the staff and managers were.

Well, the entire check-in was a disaster. While mine took only 7 hours, in the evening there was still a long line of guests, some of them families with small children, waiting to get a room they had ordered and paid for. I do not blame the staff, who did their best to mitigate the situation. But whoever managed the transition from Red Lion to Radisson should look for a simpler occupation. That there was not even a backup registration procedure was appalling. And nobody in the local staff had the common sense or initiative to check folks in manually and give them a room. Everything could have been solved quickly this way. Take a picture of credit card and ID and give the families a room. Then sort out matters later when the system is up and running. This incompetence left only many, many disgruntled guests behind, who in all probability blame Radisson for a ruined Orlando vacation.

Hotel staff are always professional and friendly. The room and hotel is clean. 4/5 stars, only because the pool is not heated; making it too cold to swim in during February. In the evenings, when temps went down to 60-70s, being from Canada and used to the cold we figured it would’ve been alright. But the water was colder than the outside air.

It was fine. The pools are not heated- just a heads up if you are trying to stay in the winter months like we did, so it was too cold to swim. Decent location and clean/quiet.
