The facilities are great, we loved the pool, mini golf, and overall amenities. The food and beverage staff were amazing, and housekeeping was also wonderful. Unfortunately, our experience with the front desk staff was very different. We stayed at this hotel for three nights and found a roach in our room. While we understand that we are in Florida and guests are traveling in from all over the world, this was still very disturbing. We do not have roaches in our home, and it is not something we expect to encounter when we are paying to stay at a hotel. When we reported the issue to the front desk, the response was nonchalant, simply “OK,” with no apology or sense of concern. No one offered to change our room or address the situation proactively. I had to request that housekeeping come to clean the room, and even then there was no sense of urgency. The lack of empathy and responsiveness from the front desk was very disappointing and took away from what could have otherwise been a great stay.

Omni Orlando is an amazing regal hotel full of luxury, amazing restaurants/meal, and customer service. NOW, we cautious you to call these hotels, airlines, and even rental car services to book directly with them and totally refrain from using Expedia; they are just corporate vampires ready to suck on every pocket money you have and would not do anything to help you should a problem arrive on any service booked with them. Whatever few dollars you save using them will cost you excessive money to fat their pockets. Remember, they are not there for you but for them, you are just their money life line to suck on. And no one speak “English English” And their emails are AI generated, you know you are not dealing with a human; And every email they respond comes from a different AI person. Honestly, just stay way away from Expedia and similar platforms.
