On the same day as checkin we received a text advising that one of the downstairs bedrooms was unable to be used & would be locked due to an issue they found from the previous renters. We attempted to get clarification on the room situation however did not receive any additional information. They advised that they would make an adjustment due to this change in our lodging. Upon checkout we still had not received a credit or adjustment. We contacted the property management company & spoke to Eliza? who at first seemed helpful & stated she would get back to us once she spoke to accounting about what they were going to do / offer. We checked back once a week for several weeks & continued to be told ‘they were working on it & would call us back. However never called. After 3 weeks with no resolve & no return calls, we began calling daily in hopes to get a resolve. We finally left a msg that if there was no return call or resolve we would be forced to dispute the charges. Instead of calling us they blocked our number. Their inability to resolve the issue in a professional manner is astonishing. Sad when the situation could have been resolved quickly & fairly for all parties. We travel to Orlando very often & have stayed in many VRBOs & have never experienced a situation such as this. Truly sad when a management company can hurt a rental property owner & their investment, as this house was well appointed and the rooms we were able to use met expectation.
