The opposite of what was advertised.
We had to book this when our first booking was double booked and we were notified it was not available. This reservation started with very poor communication from the primary accout contact. We ended up having to have the help desk contact them, even though they are in this town. They did not respond to anyone at all. Due to time constraints, we booked the property.
The advertised description is a flat out lie. The ad was filtered for a home and it turned out to be an apartment. Listed as a 2 bath, there was no second shower and the toilet was clogged. There was no TV, very few dishes or cooking utensils and 3 towels for 4 guests. No other linens or basic amenities, like coffee filters or cleaning supplies (dish soap, sponges, or paper towels... ect) were there.
The photos are of two different kitchens, not the same living room space pictured, but the bedroom pictures are relatively accurate with on the floor bed spring / mattress, like a flop house.
On check in we found the air conditioner was malfunctioning (frozen over) and poorly maintained (drain plugged). In Florida that makes for muggy days and bad sleeping nights, but the owner only said that he "would notify maintenance".
Virtually no contact was made by primary contact or anyone during or after check in or during the whole visit. We had to notify them about the malfunctioning air conditioner, no maintenance personnel were seen. At checkout there was a cleaning lady waiting outside, she rudely pushed by as we opened to retrieve the luggage, not saying anything. Thank goodness she apparently didn't have a key.
All we can really say is, don't. Do not bother booking this or any of these people's spaces. If they put in just a tiny bit of effort into communicating with us prior to booking, we could have worked out variations and come to a compromise. We asked the owner if we could have a conversation about a possible partial refund but again, we got no response. This owner scammed us and disregarded us after the fact completely. BEWARE!
