Disappointing
Unfortunately we were overall disappointed with our stay. We experienced many issues from the second we walked through the door. I will say there are some positives: - distance to parks - resort pool- clubhouse with gym and movie room - accommodates all ages Unfortunately our list of negatives is quite a bit longer: - the house was not very clean. It looked like someone did some vacuuming and light wiping but the shower tiles had some dark mold, old hair left from previous tenants, a lot of dust, dishes included were dirty and covered in glitter(?), and some small stains on some of the bedding. - multiple bathrooms had ant problems and we couldn’t leave our toiletries on the counter after some started crawling in the countertops. The ants were so small they were difficult to see unless you looked close but they infested my mouthwash and I had to throw several things out - the games that were included were all missing pieces and the chess board was torn - there was a broken tile piece in the pool which is a safety hazard - on multiple occasions the WiFi went out for several hours leaving my in laws unable to watch the tv or contact anyone back home - at one point the lock to the front door malfunctioned and the phone number provided in the handbook was not reaching anyone. After several hours I used the VRBO app to directly contact the host and was finally able to get through to someone. We decided to just stick out but we’re honestly bummed with the stay.
