The river house is very comfortable, very attractive and nicely appointed. We enjoyed sitting on the large porch enjoying the view of the water and the peaceful neighborhood. Located convenient to NC highway55, we used the home as our base to visit Oriental, Minnesott Beach, Washington and Beaufort. Just as described, this was the tranquil getaway that we had hoped for.

Loved the cute home located in a super quiet area. Lounging on the huge screened in porch was my favorite thing. As well the owners were super responsive and so good to deal with, felt as if we had known them for years. Main bed was super comfy which is a big requirement for us. Loved the small touches like the kurig coffee pods! Will definitely recommend to friends and be back soon!

We had to leave our home for 30 days due to”back puff or ghosting” while restoration work was being completed. We felt so lucky to find this rental just 4 miles from our home on short notice. We originally thought we would be displaced for 4-5 days so when they took all our clothes for cleaning we only kept enough for 4-5 days. After that we were told 30 days so we especially appreciated the cottage with clothes washer and dryer as well as everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our needs and close to home so we could check on work. We felt so blessed.
