Upon arrival at the property we took a very narrow, steep road to the Pansion Villa and to locate the parking at the top of the road. The access road isn’t the easiest to drive up and you need to be careful of the low sides of the road. You definitely need a car however to access this accommodation and to travel into town or neighbouring beaches. The nearest beach isn’t walkable as it involves going on the road and you take your life into your own hands with some of the cars, lorries travelling very fast along. You also need to be careful when exiting for cars coming round the bend.
The sea views were incredible looking out towards Korcula, Orebic and islands and this was the stand out benefit of the accommodation. The pool was cleaned regularly each morning and surrounding area was spotless.
The staff were perfectly reasonable and professional if not a little abrupt at times but this could be put down to the language barriers. The breakfast was plentiful and restocked and a had wide variety and was mostly of good quality. The croissants and fruit, pancakes were a highlight. For an extra fee there was a buffet in the evening but we didn’t have time for this.
Our bedroom was well appointed and reasonably clean. The air conditioning worked well once any windows weren’t slightly ajar!
Some negative reviews don’t convey the beauty of this place and how being run by a family maintains charm and character. There are even little tortoises amongst the vineyards
