Well, except or all of this...

So, this is our own fault. We should have complained more when we were there. I suppose this place is great if you have kids camping with you. Our propane tank was empty, no-one answers the phone number on the check-in instructions sheet. The bathrooms and showers are really moldy-mildewy-smelly, and our mattress (under the pad- we checked for bed bugs) was covered in mouse-poop that we cleaned up ourselves because, by this point, we were just feeling defeated by our choice. The glamping tent was in a tight circle and you really hear everything happening at the campfire in front of you and the circle of cabins behind you. The furniture was looking tired and early yard-sale in design. Maybe for you, not for us.

We only spent 2 nights. This would have been a great place to spend our whole vacation. So close to the state park, beautiful scenery, the staff were amazing, friendly knowledgeable. Loved it!!

One of our favourite places we stayed on our roadtrip! Beautiful setting - tranquil, novel (stayed in a wagon), great facilities for the kids (some equipment a little tired, but not an issue for us), lovely pool/spa area with slides. Kids loved the kayaking & SUP on little lake. Loved that we could have a campfire and eat outside our wagon. Stars were AMAZING! If you want to do the shooting, be sure to book in advance, as limited availability & times. Horseriding was a great into for the kids - really enjoyable. Handy having restaurant onsite. Can buy ice, but no communal fridge available if glamping. Mini golf was fun for the kids. Nb: there’s an additional charge for some of the activities. Love our visit - would definitely stay again if we were in the area!
