The room smelled of mildew. The burners on the stove didn’t light easily. The filter on the water by the pool blinked red the whole stay. They didn’t give any hand towels until they noticed the bath towel hanging on the hand towel rack. The room was missing kitchen essentials such as a cheese grater, can opener, sheet pan, and measuring spoons. There was no complimentary coffee in the room. There was a stray cat outside our room. There was no smart TV.

There were options for pools from quiet to busy. We offered the quiet. Mulligans restaurant had good quality food for a fair price. Our room seemed a little dated but was clean and spacious. Great view of the one pool and the ocean. Large balcony. The kitchen even had an oven however we didn’t have time to use the kitchen. Nice to also have 2 bathrooms.

Muy mal el proceso de checkin. A pèsar de ser un hotel tan caro el ingreso es recien a las 16hs. Nos dijeron que en Consergeria nos iban a dar un "regalo", pero allì solamente les interesaba que asistièramos a una charla de 1.5 hs., algo que no aceptamos. La informaciòn gral. que nos dieron alli sobre el hotel y la zona fuè erronea, para que compremos los servicios del hotel. Ademàs, cuando nos entregaron las pulseras con la llave, estas no abrian la puerta de la habitaciòn pues nos las validaron......tuve que repetir el tràmite en recepciòn.... En la playa del frente, en la zona del hotel mientras nos bañabamos, nos sustrajeron un par de zapatillas.

This was our 4th trip to Aruba and our 3rd time staying at Divi. This particular trip however we had a room with the view of parking and construction (so had this been my first trip, this view would have been devasting) - The beach was just 2 minute walk and having access to all Divi properties is a perk. The room was clean, housekeeping always did a great job cleaning our room daily. We did get charged for accidently breaking the coffee pot (IMO this should be an incidental) and with the exception of one person on the sales team, our customer experience with staff was good. We utilized 2 of the restaurants and 2 of the pools on the property and enjoyed both.
