Staff was friendly with the exception of the gentleman at the lobby. It is not that he wasn't friendly, but I couldn't read his mood. I respect my elders, but we have to understand the industry that you are working also. No mirror or sink in the bathroom, a sink in the bedroom..? It is an old property, so it is time for a redesign.

Trick or treat sneaky

I had booked 2 days and the first day we got there about 1130ish at night theres 2 adults 3 kids, so we get there the lady needs a deposit never tells me how much it is and has me initial some paperwork and write my vehicle info down no biggie thought we were on a great path of a 2 day vacay the next morning my husband, kids and i go down for breakfast well we arint on the list of rooms easy mistake i taken it the lady goes ahead and gets our info again no biggie. We eat and we go back to the room we get a call on the hotel phone and it was front desk vertifying that we are there she didnt know type of thing again no biggie things happen. We were there for knotts scary farm so when we were about to leave my husband goes to the front desk to make sure we are okay and it turns out we weren't i had paid 277 and some change well they added another 100 and change plus 150 deposit due to there mistake of putting us in that room it was for dogs but we didnt have a dog we chose room due to 3 kids 2 in the bed and one on the couch bed. I didnt pay the extra 100 and something due to hotels.com already had me pay my 277 and change i dont know why the hotel thought it would be great to sneak a payment and then go back and forth with us to change rooms or not i told them i have no issues moving to another room they apologized and left us there yet snuck on a charge with out discussing it with us very unprofessional especially before we left to knotts they said we were good to go.

Ants in our room everywhere, on the walls, ceiling bathroom floor covered our clothes. Manager offered 20$ off our room for me to pay to wash our ant covered clothing before putting them in suitcases to fly back home. Pretty frustrating to have my kids clothes covered in bugs on vacation.

The hotel is an old hotel that they’re trying to make look new, with many details that need attention. Another very important thing is that the bathroom sink is in the room, which is very uncomfortable if you have company. If you need to leave early, you can’t avoid making noise. The lighting is very poor—I couldn’t even shave properly because I couldn’t see. I think it’s very inappropriate that the bathroom sink is right in front of one of the beds. In summary, I would not stay there again; for just a little more money you can stay at any of the hotels around.
