Central for old town but water issue

Lady at check in grumpy. Allocated standard room when booked Junior suite. Sink leaked at base. Shower screen not sealed so also leaked floor constantly wet. Junior suite spacious and great bed and AC. Well located. If they could fix water issue it would be a good hotel.

Beautiful view of Oran

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at this hotel and it's our favorite place to stay in Oran. Beautiful view of the city and the sea. The staff is very friendly and always makes us feel welcomed.

Charme el Cheikh - not so charming

The best part about this hotel was the location. It was located on a busy road in the city centre, and walking distance from most sites of interest. The hotel itself was old and tired. Staff speak almost no English. Rooms are ok, decent sized. Bathroom was not great. There was no in-room safe. Breakfast was shocking, stale pastries and terrible coffee, but that seems to be common in Algeria. Also the time they indicate breakfast starting may not necessarily be the time it actually starts. The hotel provides a free airport shuttle. However, even though ypu may indicate a time and they agree to it, they will still wait for the shuttle to fill no matter how much time that takes, and will not communicate any time changes to you. It is probably better to give them a time earlier than what you need.

clean downtown hotel

Stayed at this nice and clean hotel several times. Like the clean rooms with internet for a good price. Not a hotel to hang out at but great when doing business downtown.

A Hotel with a view

My husband and I stayed here for four nights and we loved it. Our room had a private balcony with a beautiful view of the city and the sea. The hotel staff was very friendly and made our stay the best. We highly recommend this hotel and we definitely will stay here again.

Clean and comfortable hotel in the centre

Very comfortable hotel with nice, helpful staff (although limited English). Good wi-fi. Spacious room, comfortable beds and well-equipped bathroom. Rich breakfast. Complimentary airport shuttle. Located near the centre (5-10 mins walk), but on a main street full of rather dodgy shops.

Hotel placé dans un quartier populaire

Pour faire suite Ă  ma rĂ©servation (21 au 23 mars 2017)effectuĂ©e en ligne par le biais du site hotel.com, je tiens Ă  mentionner qu'Ă  mon arrivĂ©Ă© l'hotel Ă©tait complet, j'avais pourtant rĂ©servĂ©, rĂ©glĂ© la facture et j'avais une confirmation. Charm El Cheick dans le quartier populaire de la Ville Nouvelle qui n'a que le nom, m'a drigĂ© vers un autre hotel (Hotel Jasmine) de confort infĂ©rieur, propre avec un directeur trĂšs agrĂ©able qui m'a trĂšs bien reçu. Le problĂšme auquel j'ai Ă©tĂ© et je suis tjs confrontĂ© est que j'ai payĂ© une facture d'un montant 2 fois plus important par rapport au prix de la nuitĂ© Ă  l'hotel ou j'ai Ă©tĂ© hĂ©bergĂ©. La diffĂ©rence Ă©tant plus du double et le niveau de l'hotel n'Ă©tant pas le mĂȘme, j'ai souhaitĂ© ĂȘtre remboursĂ© de cette diffĂ©rence. Je me suis rendu Ă  l'hotel Charm El Cheick qui ne pouvait rien faire puisque ce ne sont pas eux qui ont encaissĂ© mon paiement mais l'agence de voyage ACC basĂ©e Ă  Alger. J'ai quand mĂȘme rĂ©ussi Ă  avoir une chambre pour la seconde nuit. Cependant le montant de la facture n'Ă©tait pas au niveau de l'hotel et Ă  sa situation gĂ©ographique. Cela m'a Ă©tĂ© confirmĂ© en discutant avec d'autres clients (des locaux). C'est en allant diner Ă  l'hotel IBIS Les Falaises que j'ai vraiment compris car c'Ă©tait le mĂȘme tarif par nuit (8400 dinars) en cette pĂ©riode d'affluence ou se tenait un salon Ă  Oran (NAPEC). Mais bon ce n'est vraiment pas le mĂȘme standing. Je me suis vraiment fait avoir sur cette rĂ©servation.
