One of the very few homes perched on the Ōpunakē Beach clifftop, this tidy Lockwood bach offers a special spot only metres from the coast — ideal for families, surfers, and anyone wanting to be close to everything.

Set on a quiet street, the bach is a relaxed, no-fuss place to unwind after a day at the beach. Sleeping is well sorted with two king single beds on the top floor. Downstairs there are two rooms, one with king single bunks, and a single bed, and the master room has a comfortable queen bed.
Make yourself comfortable in your air-conditioned vacation home. The bathroom has a shower and a hair dryer.

Classic kiwi bach in a great location. Relaxed vibes and lots of little extras made our stay very enjoyable. Very accurate description, clear and prompt communication from our host Lucy. Would definitely recommend for a family break by the beach, with easy access to the mountain and the city.

We loved our stay at 5 Dieffenbach. The location is prime, the coffee great, and the beds cosy. I don't think there is a better spot to watch the sunset than on Opunake beach.
