A yawn in Provence.

We arrived at 1430, an hour before check in. We were turned away after starting our journey in London at 0430. We asked to wait in a public area but were told there was nowhere to sit and wait. The photos of the property show this to be to the contrary. Not welcoming at all. The minibar in the communal kitchen , run on an ‘honesty write down your usage basis ‘in a notebook was somewhat spoiled by a cctv camera pointed directly on it. Didn’t feel we were in Provence.

This is an absolutely amazing property and Vanessa was a lovely host. It is situated on a vineyard, surrounded by mountain views and beautiful landscaping. The decor is perfect and the breakfast that was brought to our patio every morning was delicious and plentiful. We enjoyed the sauna and steam room. If you are traveling off season be advised that it can be a little challenging to find restaurants in the area that are open. We rented a car and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area, especially Gordes and Menerbes. Highly recommend!

This property is outstanding. The communication and check-in process was very easy. The accommodations were absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The breakfast that was delivered to our door was thoughtfully curated and delicious with great attention to detail. We would definitely stay here again!

Vanessa, the manager, is an absolute delight. The grounds are spectacular, immaculately kept up by a knowledgeable gardener. I believe Oppède is the village where President Obama and his family recently stayed. There are many charming towns and markets within a half hour drive.
