About this property
Offline overnight stay in a Farmhouse room
Get offline and experience the best time together!
The farm family rooms are located in the North Veluwe, surrounded by historic towns like Elburg, Hattem, and Kampen, near beaches, forests, sand drifts, and heathland. Enjoy nature, tranquility, hospitality, and the abundance of animals on our small-scale farm. Wake up surrounded by nature under four-season sheep wool duvets, without Wi-Fi or television.
End the day with mud on your shoes, fresh air in your lungs, and a wonderful bed to dive into. In the family rooms, you'll experience the rhythm of the farm. The children? They're busy outside all day long. By the time they're tucked away in their box beds, rosy-cheeked, you'll be enjoying the sunset.
In the family room, you'll find everything you need for a relaxing holiday surrounded by nature. There's no Wi-Fi or television – and you'll get used to that faster than you think. Slowing down and drifting along to the leisurely rhythm of outdoor life is always a special experience for our guests.
The family room is fully equipped for up to 4 people: a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children up to 12 years old (including babies).
You'll sleep in a double bed with 4-season sheepskin duvets. Cozy box beds are available for the children, two of which can be converted into cribs.
The farmhouse family room also includes:
- A cozy living area with a dining table and chairs
- Heating and electricity
- A fully equipped kitchen with hot running water, dishes, pans, and utensils. Groceries can be stored in the refrigerator, and you can cook on an electric stovetop.
- A bathroom with a shower and toilet
- Made beds, bath towels, hand towels, tea towels, and dishcloths
- A private terrace with a picnic table and two wooden lounge chairs
- A barbecue on your own terrace
- Optional: book a hot tub (subject to availability)
The farm offers 4 cabins, 4 tented cottages, and 2 farmhouse family rooms.
🌿Looking for even more adventure? Check out our off-grid cabins and tented cottages and stay overnight without Wi-Fi or electricity, but with a wood-burning stove, running water, and everything you need.
With a bit of luck, you'll spot bats and owls at dusk. Watch the beautiful sunsets or roast marshmallows at the campfire. The grounds are ideal for children, with a trampoline, playground equipment, and great for touring on go-karts. There's also a swimming pool, a sandbox with a water pump, swings, and a slide.
At the farm shop, you can order freshly baked bread or a meal for the next day. You'll also find local produce and meat from our own farm – perfect for the barbecue.
We have cows, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, and guinea pigs. Of course, they all need to be fed – will you help?
Want to learn more about farm life? Then join us on a Farm Tour! Every Tuesday and Saturday, we drive our vintage Ferguson tractor and farm cart to the adjacent dairy farm to visit the 200 cows and calves.
On Wednesdays and Saturdays, it's pizza night (for a fee). We'll light the wood-fired oven. You roll your own pizza, top it with fresh ingredients, and we'll pop it in the oven for you. Enjoy the evening sun, a cold glass of lemonade, and taste how delicious we can bake pizzas in the farmland.
Every week there's plenty to do:
- Feed the animals with Farmer Peter (twice a day)
- Farm tour with a tractor (Tuesday & Saturday at 10:15 AM)
- Wood-fired pizza night (Wednesday & Saturday at 6:00 PM, for a fee)
- Roast marshmallows by the campfire
- Collect eggs on the farm
- Fresh produce in the farm shop (bread, meat, regional products)
- Extras available for order: e.g., a breakfast basket, farmer's cheese fondue, or grilled chicken
There's also plenty to do in the area surrounding the Landhoeve!
Various hiking trails begin near the farm, and you can fish in the Gelderse Gracht canal. Visit the drifting sands in 't Harde or cycle on the Wezepsche Heide, home to Scottish Highland cattle, wild boar, red deer, roe deer, foxes, and badgers. For a refreshing dip, you don't have to go far; you can go to places like Lake Veluwe or Heerderstrand. Discover the old fortified town of Elburg, the Hanseatic city of Kampen, or visit the Bakery Museum in the picturesque town of Hattem. Other fun outings include Walibi Biddinghuizen, Dinoland Zwolle, or the barefoot path at the A.Vogel gardens.
In the Farmhouse Family Room, you'll find:
- Made beds
- Towels and kitchen linens
- Dishwashing liquid, hand soap, and toilet paper
In the Farm Shop, you'll find (free of charge):
- Coffee and tea ☕
- Highchairs (feel free to bring one upon arrival)
