I was honestly a little reluctant to book here, because it was so cheap and there were several listings with the same picture, which I thought was weird. But anyway, I’m glad I did. The place is nothing fancy, but it’s quite new, very clean and for one person it was perfect for a budget stay. Comfy bed. Nice bedding. It even had a clothes, washer and a balcony for drying. It’s about five blocks from the station. The only negative and it wasn’t a big deal, but the hot water ran out pretty fast, so be aware. If you’re looking for a nice basic stay at a great value in Onomichi, this is it.

Easy to locate property via google map. Received clear instruction on the self check-in info at about 9am on check in day. Clean and cosy apartment, the bed feels like home and we have a good two nights stay here.

Our apartments were quite a bit smaller than the online photo, but maybe I wasn't paying attention to the written descriptions. We very much appreciated the attention to details, cleanliness, the in-suite washer and the refrigerator. We didn't use the microwave or cooktop.

Really nice apartment in Onomichi. We stayed as a group of 4 and fit comfortably. It's close to the main station and town centre and only a quick bus ride from Shin Onomichi if you are catching the Shinkansen. Hosts were easy to communicate with and responded quickly. Air con in all rooms was very welcomed in the summer heat. There is no lift though and a slightly narrower staircase so if you are bringing larger luggage it's a little trickier to get to the 3rd floor! Would absolutely recommend staying here and hope we can again in the future.

Perfect place, we stayed for 2 nights before checking out and cycling the shininami kaido. There were many great amenities with the property and restaurants and Lawson's are a short walk away plus the train station is an even shorter walk away.

Perfect base for cycling Shimanami Kaido

We used Yutori as a base for cycling the Shimanami Kaido, and for visiting Hiroshima. Onomichi is a sleepy town with limited restaurants and nightlife but we managed to find a few nice places to eat, and also visited nearby Fukuyama. The accommodation had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Perfect location for bike hire from the port area. Self check in was easy due to the effective communication from the Yutori team.

This is a spotlessly clean unit and is great as a starting point for the shimanami kaido. It's a very short walk to the pier and the train station. Note that you need to communicate with the property manager via the Expedia app and upload your passport etc the day you check in so make sure you have mobile data and your passport copies are under ~4MB. The property manager is ridiculously quick to respond to messages if you have questions.
