This is the perfect caravan park to stay at for a family holiday, especially with young kiddies. We booked the family luxury tent (glamping) and it was honestly so nice! Had all the basics you need and the pool, kids play areas and beach were constant entertainment. The only issue we had is that our 2 year old didn’t sleep very well during our stay, and the safari tents are paper thin so it was a bit stressful. If you have very young kids who are loud and temperamental at night, or you’re worried they may wake each other up, a cabin might be a bit more sound proof and better!

Clean and nice pool facility. Staff helpful but 12 from Nelson Bay but great if you don’t want to be quiet. Don’t have a parking meter either..lol. Can be noisy at times with kids but didn’t bother me.

Was lovely to stay couple of night, I definitely would stay longer next time. It was Awesome the beach was so so close proximity so private, patrolled and lovely for swimming and bit of surfing. The pool was so clean and inviting, PutPut golf, tennis court, basketball court, it was a lovely stay 👍👍⛱️⛱️⛱️ The One Thing that didn’t have is Netflix etc Couldn’t even get it to go from your own phone, TV’s are not updated, don’t have even chromeCast . But that’s the one thing that they failed with Other than that, the place was Awesome

The location is just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to go for a quick swim or evening walk. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our cabin was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The park itself was well maintained and quiet at night. Would definitely stay again

Fabulous place for families

Our stay at Ingenia One Mile was fantastic. The park is beautiful and has everything to keep kids entertained. There’s the beautiful lagoon pool with waterslide, putt putt golf, children's playgrounds, tennis, massive bouncy pillow, kids club activities etc etc. The cabins and all the facilities are very clean and tidy, all the staff are amazing, and it’s right on the beach. There’s a cafe/bar onsite (although it was only open to 2pm when we were there), lots of very well maintained barbecues, a camp kitchen and visiting food trucks. It’s a 5min drive to Anna Bay, where there is a supermarket/pub/restaurants, and 10/12mins into Nelson Bay. We only had 2 days there and it wasn’t nearly enough!

Arrived early around 11.30am and asked to be notified when room was ready. Went to check in at 240pm and was told they only just started on the room and would be 20mins. Understand check in is not until 3pm however probably should have been told at 11.30am there was no chance it would be ready before then. Notified at 3.05pm the room was ready. Given a $10 voucher for “our patience” from a venue that was not even open half the time. Cutlery, cups and plates were dirty and needed to be rewashed. We had 3 kids with us and had to make the beds ourself upon arrival. Not sure why that was. Utensils were bare minimum with not even an oven tray to use the oven with. Stove top needed to be started with a lighter but was not advised of this. Considering the late check in and having to be out by 10am on check out, definitely was not worth the $1400 for 3 nights. The woman who checked us in was lovely though.

Unfortunately our room had not been cleaned properly when we arrived for our out of hours check in. The Park Manager was great in compensating by bringing new linen and crediting our first night's stay. Aside from the "human logistical error, everythinh else was great.

Amazing stay! Walk to beach which is amazingly stretched out and quiet. Cafe right next to camp site, happy hour with a singer. Campsite facility is amazing, so much for kids to do! A weekend is too short
