The quirks of the hotel was great. The room was not cleaned well at all. There was hair in the shower and old used soap. There was a ron of dust on the ceiling fan. Upstairs there were stains on maytress, furniture, and floors. Told the front desk, but they didn't seem to care.

Overall, this was an excellent choice. It is a beautiful hotel. Everything was clean and well cared for. The sliding doors on the bathroom are very heavy. For older people I’m guessing this would be hard to open. We had two meals in the restaurant. Both meals were excellent, but there were not enough people working in. The service was very slow. We were not in a hurry so it wasn’t a big deal.

Such lovely staff and the shuttle service was wonderful! The room does have that whiff that pet-friendly places tend to have, but it’s altogether charming and in a great location.

Nice renovated building. Love the history. Our room was nice, but not entirely clean. Floor wasn’t clean and there were used towels hanging on the back of the bathroom door. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

From the moment we checked in, to the moment we checked out, it was a wonderful experience. The room was clean, had a beautiful view and we were very comfortable and relaxed in it’s romantic atmosphere. The staff was exceptional, they took time to help answer all of our questions about the local area’s shopping and dining areas and they offered transportation services. I definitely recommend staying here when you’re in Omaha next. Parking was easy, reasonably priced and they offer valet service. As a bonus, this hotel is located within walking distance of the Old Market.

Our room was older, but very charming, and a great size. There was a wedding going on at night, so we could not enjoy the patio area, but it looked very nice. Cookies and milk at night were a nice touch. There were not complimentary plush robes as pictured. Good location, friendly staff. Cute, fun place. Excellent restaurant for supper with great food and drinks.

The hotel is a beautiful historic hotel but with that comes dated amenities and rooms. While I expected common areas to be historic I wasn’t expecting the rooms to also be. For example the shower was extremely small, the tiles were cracked and broken, water damage along the walls, VERY low yellow lighting, the toilet was practically on the floor it was so low. If you are using your room to get ready for a special event you MUST bring extra lighting it was awful for makeup and hair. Now, some would say this type of stuff is expected for a historic hotel I guess I was looking for more, it was just “meh” to me. The staff were all extremely nice and we had some lights out and a temperature issue in the room and it was handled very quickly. Valet was amazing and so friendly. We won’t be staying here again just because it was very average, nothing bad, I just prefer a little more pamper when I’m on vacation.
